Wow, so easy. 

I feel like they thought I was lying when I called in today and said I couldn’t go in tomorrow because I’m paranoid about dumb stuff like that, but you can’t be like “I SWEAR I’M ACTUALLY SICK. I WILL BRING IN THE LUNG I COUGHED UP EARLIER” because that’s weird.

At least I don’t have to go to work tomorrow.

There was a time when I felt panicked about how many books that I’d never read. It was partially because I felt that there were so many books that I should have read already that I hadn’t and it was partially because I felt cheated that I would be missing out on those worlds, those stories, those points of view. I have since adopted a new perspective, which is that my goodness, isn’t it wonderful to know that this’ll never ever get old? Reading is the hobby that never ends and continues growing forever and ever. There are a million gajillion bazillion books out there (actual stat.), with more being released every day, and every one I read enriches my life. Yes, I’m never going to read them all, but I’m never going to have that moment when I say “yup, I’ve read all there is to read”, and I think that that’s pretty gosh darned great.
