I think Toph should get her own spin-off called “How I Met Your Father” where Lin sits on a couch for 6 years as Toph tells her about cool stuff she did with the Gaang which usually has almost nothing to do with us meeting the father.

Okay, so you know how in a:tla, Ozai didn’t really come into play until the last season? Like, Even though the firelord was a big looming threat over team avatar, he wasn’t really present and they were dealing more with Zuko or other “bad guys.” I think that might be the case with Amon as well. He might seem like a huge threat now, but what if he’s working for someone - someone more powerful, and with a bigger plan than just taking over Republic City? Maybe that’s why the so called “final showdown” is happening in season one rather than at the end of the series as it did for avatar. Amon had to have learned/gotten his “energy bending” from someone. Maybe that someone - or something - is who Korra will face in the final showdown.
