ACTUALLY, I believe the quote is “Annie has a very specific taste in men, and Abed doesn’t by default fit that profile.” BY DEFAULT. Also, a person’s taste does not always dictate who they “fall” for (not that I have any illusion about AxA actually happening, but one more kiss. Come on Dan). Also, this was from an interview going into season 3 in which Dan says that AxA shippers may be frustrated by the way AxA was being addressed within the show. Dan says, and I quote “We do have more plans for that area” which obviously they did. I mean, they broke the entire “Abed needs to be a different person to have a genuine “moment” with Annie” thing (*cough* VSA *cough*), so yeah.

I just don’t understand why people post things in the annie x abed (or the abed x annie) tag about how annie x abed isn’t real/doesn’t work/won’t happen etc. etc. I don’t care that you don’t ship it, just don’t tag it. Simple as that. I mean, when I see stuff like that in the tag and I literally think to myself “did I ask you?”.

Do people think that we go into the tag to see yet another post about how “abed and annie only exist in a fantasy world because annie would never go for abed in real life and abed has no feelings”?

psa: abed acting on his feelings for annie in character does not mean that those emotions do not exist when he is himself. it means that abed is incapable or uncomfortable expressing those emotions as himself, so he devises a way in which he can express them, which just happens to be through fictional characters.
